Terms of use

These terms of use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website huahine.iamana.fr, published by the Comité du tourisme de Huahine in official partnership with Tahiti Tourisme. By browsing the Site, you accept these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Site

Huahine Life is a free local directory listing stays, activities, dining and services on the island of Huahine, verified by hand. The Site connects travellers and providers directly, with no commission and no payment intermediary.

2. Access

The Site is freely accessible to any user with an internet connection. The publisher endeavours to keep the Site available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, and may suspend access for maintenance or updates.

3. Directory only — no transactions

The Site acts solely as an information directory. It does not carry out any sale, booking or financial transaction. Any contractual relationship, booking or payment takes place directly between the traveller and the provider, without any involvement of the publisher, who is not a party to any contract made between them and accepts no responsibility for the services provided.

4. Accuracy of information

Listings are verified locally with care, but the information (descriptions, indicative prices, availability, contact details) is provided for information only and may change. The publisher does not guarantee the permanent accuracy, completeness or currency of the content. Each user should verify information directly with the provider before any commitment.

5. Provider registration

Any provider may request a listing via the registration form. Publication is subject to human verification and the publisher's acceptance, which reserves the right to refuse, edit or remove any listing, in particular if content is inaccurate, unlawful or contrary to the Site's values. The provider guarantees the accuracy of the information it supplies and undertakes to report any change.

6. User obligations

The user undertakes to:

• use the Site fairly and in accordance with its purpose;
• not disrupt the Site (attacks, bots, overload);
• not publish unlawful, defamatory or misleading content;
• respect the intellectual property rights of the publisher and third parties.

7. Intellectual property

The Site content (texts, logo, graphic identity, photographs) is protected. Any reproduction or reuse without prior written authorisation is prohibited.

8. Liability

The publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from use of the Site, unavailability, an error in a listing, or relations between travellers and providers. External sites reachable via links are not under the publisher's control.

9. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy, compliant with the GDPR.

10. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are subject to the law applicable in French Polynesia and to French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the competent courts will have jurisdiction.
