We only collect the data needed to list providers:
Via the provider registration form
- Name of the establishment or provider
- Description and type of offer (stay, activity, restaurant, transport)
- Business contact details: phone, WhatsApp, email address
- Indicative area / location
- Indicative price
Browsing data
The Site uses no third-party cookies, no analytics tools and no advertising trackers. No browsing data is collected for commercial or profiling purposes.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Listing providers in the directory after human verification — legal basis: your consent and the legitimate interest of promoting local tourism.
- Publishing the business contact details you provide, to connect travellers and providers — legal basis: consent.
4. Recipients
Data is processed by the Comité du tourisme de Huahine. It is not sold, transferred or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Within the official partnership with Tahiti Tourisme, some public listing information may be relayed for tourism promotion.
5. Location and transfers
Data is hosted within the European Union (OVHcloud, server located in Warsaw, Poland). No data is transferred outside the European Union.
6. Retention period
Data is kept for as long as the listing is published, and at most 3 years after the last contact, unless you request deletion. Unvalidated registration requests are deleted within 12 months.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction of processing
- Object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time

8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (password-restricted access, secure EU hosting, request rate-limiting) to protect your data against unauthorised access, modification, disclosure or destruction.

The Site sets no tracking or third-party cookies. Only cookies strictly necessary for technical operation may be used; these do not require consent.
